India has been ranked in the 9th position on Agoda’s list which indicates India is progressing in sustainability and conservation efforts.
The Sustainable Impact Survey 2023 involved the participation of over 13,000 individuals from more than ten countries. Among the markets that exhibit strong sustainability and conservation efforts, Japan emerged as the top performer in Agoda’s survey. Singapore and South Korea followed closely behind, while India ranked 9th in the survey. In the sustainability rankings of countries, survey respondents expressed their appreciation for their own nations’ conservation efforts. All surveyed markets included their respective countries in the top three rankings. In fact, seven out of the eleven markets surveyed even awarded their home countries the top position, namely India, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Korea, Indonesia, and Japan.
Agoda’s Eco Deals Campaign

Enric Casals, the regional vice-president, of Agoda, said that undoubtedly sustainability caught the people’s minds.
